"The RIP" harks back to earlier 80's and 90's style cop crime thrillers but ultimately, feels more like a fascimile, than an original work, in its own right. The Rip: A Knives Out Mystery Convoluted bullshit mystery. How many plates can you spin Mr. Damon? You are incredible and Ben...just does exactly what you know he'll do. Which is the right thing because you are all so just. Well done officers. Could have been shorter.

I'd seen the trailer and posters for this film in many places, but for some reason it didn't impress me at all. I found it boring to watch. The acting was good, but the script was slow and dialogue-heavy, which was one of the main reasons it was boring. However, the effects were good. Is it worth watching?
