Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian 21 or older. The parent/guardian is required to stay with the child under 17 through the entire movie, even if the parent gives the child/teenager permission to see the film alone. These films may contain strong profanity, graphic sexuality, nudity, strong violence, horror, gore, and strong drug use. A movie rated R for profanity often has more severe or frequent language than the PG-13 rating would permit. An R-rated movie may have more blood, gore, drug use, nudity, or graphic sexuality than a PG-13 movie would admit.
Sooner rather than later every franchise ends up, by design or accident, a parody of itself; The Crow: Wicked Prayer never stood a chance of avoiding this fate, but then what movie starring Eddie Furlong, David Boreanaz, Tara Reid, and Danny Trejo would? On the other hand, we have Dennis Hopper as a pimp named El Nino who says things like "You stole daddy's car keys, but you can't handle the horse...
So ridiculous that it's kinda watchable.
<em>'The Crow: Wicked Prayer'</em> is not a good movie. However, it commits so hard to what it wants to do that I was kinda locked on to just see where it would go next. It particularly goes off the rails towards the conclusion, especially with David Boreanaz's Luc. There are many, many issues with this 2005 release, but I honestly didn't hate viewing it...
