Well, kudos need to go to Kathleen Turner for actually trying. She makes it a bearable film by force of personality alone. However none of the jokes really landed. The dialogue is horrible, the direction is flat and looks a lot like a single camera sitcom. Basically, it's just Kathleen Turner trying her best to salvage a bad film with nothing really going for it. She brought her A-Game to it...
