La filla de l'inspector Kanon i el seu marit apareixen morts a Londres, on eren de viatge de nuvis. L'inspector viatja de seguida a Anglaterra per buscar l'assassí de la parella, però la policia no el deixa participar en la investigació. Ell sap que no és un cas qualsevol perquè té característiques molt semblants a un altre doble assassinat comès a Madrid dues setmanes abans. Al cap de quinze dies, quan es comet un tercer assassinat a Munic, l'inspector aconsegueix que un policia alemany el faci entrar en la investigació. Un quart assassinat doble a Estocolm confirma que tots els casos estan relacionats i que tenen un objectiu molt específic, però la sorpresa arriba quan dedueixen la identitat de l'assassí.

Generally I like these crime-dramas, which I is why I also watched CSI and Criminal Minds when they were on. However, this adaptation of the James Patterson/Liza Marklund novel has some editing problems and sloppy dialogue. Big fan of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but this isn't a good film. <em>'The Postcard Killings'</em> should be full to the brim with vigour and vitality as the plot involves a mystery that takes the characters across Europe.
