Una cosa misteriosa està passant a l'illa de Fara. És novembre i les temperatures són tan elevades que la calor ha calcinat camps i homes. Tot plegat és un caos: el sistema elèctric està saturat i provoca la caiguda de les línies de telèfon i l'explosió dels aparells elèctrics.
