AJ és una adolescent per a la qual planejar un viatge d'any sabàtic és molt més apetible que passar una setmana amb la seva família de vacances. Encara així, es troba en un trajecte de cotxe de quatre hores cap a la costa amb la seva mare Tina i la seva germana petita Dayna. Amb la companyia de la seva germana gran embarassada i el seu xicot Steve, l'AJ tem que aquesta serà una setmana infernal. I thought this was a fairly entertaining coming of age story. The script was intelligent, if a little cliched now and then, and the acting good, especially the portrayal of AJ’s mother. I will say that I got tired of the woe is me attitude of AJ, but perhaps I am just biased.
