This is an excellent war film that avoids taking sides, instead using the South Korean viewpoint to explore the Korean War. It's a high-quality production in every sense: the cinematography, storytelling, and acting are all top-notch. Ultimately, the film is built around a central, powerful question: "Why are we fighting?"
