A Hackney, al Regne Unit, dos germans d'origen egipci, en Mo i en Rashid. En Mo, de catorze anys, és un noi solitari, estudios i sensible, amb la set de xerrameca i broma dels seus amics que el fa propens a endinsar-se en territoris perillosos. Idolatra i vol seguir el camí del seu atractiu germà gran, en Rashid, boxejador, membre carismàtic i respectat d'una banda local, el tràfic de drogues de la qual permet a en "Rash" mantenir la seva família. En Rashid no ho veu clar, no només pels pocs dots per al crim de Mo, sinó per les seves possibilitats d'accedir a una mica millor. Desitjant ser vist com un noi dur, en Mo accepta una feina que desbloqueja un gir fatídic dels esdeveniments i obliga els germans a enfrontar-se als seus dimonis interiors. En Rashid viu un segon despertar sexual insospitat. Resulta que l'odi és fàcil. L'amor i la comprensió són els que requereixen veritable coratge.

"Rashid" (James Floyd) is a good looking and charming lad who has all that his younger brother "Mo" (Fady Elsayed) wants. He's well thought of, got a nice girlfriend and has a bit of cash. How he gets that money is what he is determined to keep from his brother - he wants better things for him. Needless to say, "Mo" doesn't always appreciate that, and decides one day to follow his freshly spruced...
