El pla era impecable, es va executar a la perfecció i tenien lliure la via de fuita. L'únic factor de risc que la ment mestra del crim Charlie Croker no va poder prevenir procedia d'un dels membres de la banda. Després de donar un sorprenent cop milionari en un palau venecià fortament custodiat, Charlie i la banda es queden sorpresos en descobrir que un d'ells els ha traït. Ara la cosa ja no té a veure amb el botí, sinó amb la venjança. Aleshores entra en escena la bella Stella, una experta rebentadora de caixes fortes que s'uneix a Charlie i a la banda quan tornen a Califòrnia a la recerca del traïdor.

Seen this one a few times over the years and still holds up as a light-hearted and fun heist-thriller. The ensemble cast with Wahlberg, Theron, Green and Mos Def, all have great chemistry. A shame the planned sequel never came to fruition, though surprised Paramount hasn't attempted to do one even if they could only bring back a couple actors like Wahlberg and Theron.
